We received over 30,000 pounds of food as a result of food drives in 2021. The non-perishable goods we receive from food drives held by individuals, businesses, churches, and schools are one of the ways we are able to provide food to our agencies free of cost. In turn, they are able to give it to those who need it most.

Holding a food drive is easy, and fun! Some groups will limit their food drive to one day; such as at a concert, play, or community event. Others hold their food drives year-round. Schools and organizations will often make it a competition between grades or departments to see which can bring in the most food, while others will make it a themed food drive.

Whatever you decided to do, we encourage your creativity and we appreciate your generosity, which helps us to feed the hungry right here in Mercer County.
