Fight Hunger. Spark Change.
Now in the third year of the COVID-19 pandemic, communities across the country continue to feel the economic impact. Inflation and supply chain disruptions are affecting the charitable food system as well as millions of families. As a result, the Feeding America network has deepened its response to food insecurity, which currently affects more than 38 million people in the United States.
To help address this issue, thousands of Walmart stores and Sam’s Clubs are teaming up with their customers, members, suppliers and associates for the ninth annual Fight Hunger. Spark Change. campaign.

The campaign will run online and in store from April 18-May 15, 2022.
There are three easy ways to support neighbors in need.

For every participating product purchased in store or online at Walmart.com or SamsClub.com, the supplier will donate the monetary equivalent of at least one meal ($0.10) on behalf of a Feeding America member food bank at Walmart and five meals ($0.50) at Sam’s Club, up to applicable limits. Stamp Out Hunger
More than 45 million Americans, including 15 million children, experience food insecurity every year. You can make a difference in your community by participating in the National Association of Letter Carrier's annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. Held this year on Saturday, May 14, 2022, simply leave a bag of nonperishable food next to your mailbox on May 14, and your letter carrier will take care of the rest!

Red Nose Day
Red Nose Day, the beloved fundraising event by Comic Relief US to help end the cycle of child poverty and ensure a healthy future for all children, returns for its eighth year on May 26, 2022. Using the power of entertainment to drive positive social change, Red Nose Day has raised $275 million since launching in the U.S. in 2015, positively impacting 30 million children.

In addition to longtime partner Walgreens, NBC and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation are also back as core campaign partners. NBC will be supporting the Red Nose Day campaign across the network and through cross-portfolio programming features.

Every holiday season, TJ Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods team up for their Fight Against Hunger that directly benefits Feeding America® and its network of food banks.
