ABOUT US
The Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County (CFWMC) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is a partner food bank of Feeding America, the largest hunger relief organization in the United States.

The Warehouse does not supply food directly to individuals, but solicits local grocers, retailers, and food manufacturers for affordable/low-cost food products and warehouses them for distribution to our 33 member agencies.
Through our agencies, we distribute food to 2,300 households in Mercer County each month. Our agencies include food pantries, soup kitchens, abuse and homeless shelters, local churches, after-school programs, low-income day care centers, youth centers, and mental health treatment centers.

Map the Meal Gap
Feeding America's annual Map the Meal Gap study helps to improve our understanding of food insecurity and food costs at the local level. The most recent release reflects 2020 estimates of food insecurity for the overall population and children at multiple geographic levels, including counties, food bank service areas, congressional districts and states.
