Who We Are

The Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization and a member of Feeding America, the nation's network of food banks, and the primary source of emergency food assistance in Mercer County. The CFWMC serves the hungry through our 33 member agencies.

Quick Facts

The Community Food Warehouse serves over 4, 200 families in Mercer County.

 In 2014 we distributed over 1.33 million pounds of food-which was a 27% increase over 2014!

13.5% or 15, 680 Mercer County residents are food insecure.

21.4% of the county's children suffer from food insecurity, and 19.4% of our
county's children ages 18 and under live in poverty.

In 2013, 17% of all CFWMC clients were senior citizens.
